mollie : debutante

    mollie's Story
mollie is a young debutante and socialite who has found her way to the Manor in search of a suitor. Sadly her valise and other luggage were lost on the journey, but the Lord of the Manor has charitably obliged her with a new wardrobe full of beautiful dresses and other items.
mollie is a deep romantic at heart, and hopes to find her One True Love, a Dom to love and train her into his perfect companion.
She is also on a journey of self discovery, and seeks out Mentors who can assist her in her quest, training her to improve in manners, poise, or any number of pursuits (see Education, below) to improve her looks and grace - the means with which to catch herself a suitable partner. Though she can be sometimes shy or awkward, she is naturally curious and inquisitive, and an enthusiastic student.
mollie's Education
mollie is young and inexperienced, but the romantic leaning of her heart means that she will approach any opportunity to learn or improve with much interest and enthusiasm - if the subject matter might improve her chances of finding her Dominant soulmate.
Charm and Grace
mollie has attended a reputable finishing school for young girls, but is always looking to improve and perfect her etiquette, poise and charming persona. She is aware that she still retains a few rough edges, and will gladly take lessons on improving her natural grace and good manners - all the better to find and be noticed by her future true love.
Domination and Submission
mollie's heart is romantic and optimistic, but she can't help but notice that the men she likes to read about in her trashy romance novels are those strong and dominant men with take-charge attitudes or experienced older mentors who so effortlessly train and shape their charges. She realises this means her ideal way to attract such a suitor is to be pleasing, submissive and obedient. She has no interest in pain, though lately has admitted to herself that she does see the benefit of "corrective" discipline where needed. Her inexperience leads her to seek out patient teachers in these areas, at least to assure herself that she will be capable of it when the time comes.
Cleanliness is next to Godliness
mollie is not particularly religious, nor of the lower classes, but she is cognizent of some of the benefits of a maid's pursuits. Humility, a willingness for hard work, and attention to detail are all traits that she knows might be found attractive by prospective suitors. She has considered disguising herself as such a maid, perhaps filling in whilst others are away sick or visiting family, as a way to practice these traits in herself, though perhaps needs the blessings or encouragement of a mentor to proceed.
Art and Beauty of the Female Form
mollie was raised in a traditional household, with a wardrobe very conservative by the Manor's standards. Coming to the Manor has been very eye-opening, and she has done her best to acclimatise with her new wardrobe and surroundings. She knows she is holding onto old comforts and learnings, but does not want to seem prudish or awkward with future suitors. Thus, she has been leafing through art books to remind herself that the female form - even naked - is a thing of beauty and art. Old habits die hard, however, and she could certain use some training or lessons in applying this philosophy to her own life, perhaps one day being completely comfortable in her own skin.
Age and Experience
mollie has become aware that the one true love she seeks, with the desired experience and a calm and even temperment for training, is likely not to be found among her young peers. She has had the usual schoolgirl crushes on older men, and now finds herself reconsidering the idea. She is increasingly open to expanding her search both for mentors or a romantic relationship with older men, and may just need a little pushing to give this consideration.
Man's Best Friend
mollie has been somewhat mulling over this expression, and wonders if there are thus secrets to be learned for finding a prospective suitor, from a study of the simple canine. Certainly loyalty and devotion are prized attributes in young women as much as in dogs. And she has heard the phrase "Good Girl" dished out both to young women and pets; perhaps there are other lessons or traits to be found. She is easily engaged with a discussion of such ideas.
